Data Sources
All grant and funding opportunity data displayed on Funding Radar is sourced from publicly available federal data sources, including but not limited to Grants.gov, Simpler.Grants.gov, and official federal agency APIs. We aggregate, organize, and present this publicly available data to help users discover relevant funding opportunities more efficiently.
Our platform stores periodic snapshots of this data. These snapshots may differ from the current official data maintained by the issuing federal agency due to synchronization delays, processing lag, data transformation, or changes made by the agency after our last data refresh. Grant listings, deadlines, award amounts, eligibility criteria, and other details displayed on our platform may not reflect the most current information available from the official source.
You must always verify all grant information directly with the official source (including Grants.gov and the issuing agency) before making any decisions or taking any action based on information found on this platform. Funding Radar shall not be held liable for any discrepancies between the information displayed on our platform and the current official data.
Editorial Content
Funding Radar provides editorial enhancements to raw grant data, including but not limited to: plain-English summaries, topic tags and categorizations, fit scores and match assessments, eligibility breakdowns, contextual notes, and priority indicators. All such editorial content represents our interpretation of officially published grant information and is provided solely for informational and convenience purposes.
Our editorial content, including topic tags and categorizations, does NOT represent official government classifications, designations, or determinations. These are proprietary taxonomies developed by Funding Radar to help users navigate and prioritize funding opportunities. The categories and tags we assign to a grant may differ from the official classifications used by the issuing agency.
Fit scores, match assessments, and eligibility indicators are advisory tools based on algorithmic and editorial analysis of publicly available grant criteria compared against user-provided organizational profiles. These assessments are NOT official eligibility determinations. Only the issuing federal agency has the authority to determine whether an applicant meets the eligibility requirements for a specific funding opportunity. A favorable fit score does not guarantee eligibility, and an unfavorable score does not necessarily indicate ineligibility. You should review the official Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) for any opportunity that interests you.
No Government Endorsement or Affiliation
Funding Radar is an independent, privately owned and operated service. We are NOT endorsed by, affiliated with, sponsored by, authorized by, or in any way officially connected to the United States government, any federal department or agency (including but not limited to HHS, HRSA, SAMHSA, CDC, USDA, NIH, CMS, FEMA, and the Grants.gov program office), or any state, county, tribal, or local government entity.
Any references to government agencies, programs, or funding opportunities on this platform are made solely for informational and descriptive purposes. The use of government agency names, program names, or acronyms does not imply endorsement, sponsorship, or any official relationship. The display of federal grant data on our platform does not constitute or imply government approval of our service, our editorial content, or our business practices.
Revenue Model
Funding Radar generates revenue through paid subscription plans. Our users pay a monthly or annual fee to access premium features, including enhanced search, fit assessments, deadline alerts, and other tools. Our free tier provides limited access to basic grant listings and information.
We do NOT receive commissions, referral fees, or any form of compensation from any federal agency, grant-making body, or grant recipient in connection with grants displayed on our platform. We do NOT charge applicants to apply for grants. We do NOT receive any portion of grant awards made to our users. Our revenue is derived solely from subscription fees paid directly by our users.
We do NOT sell, rent, license, or otherwise monetize user personal data or organizational information to third parties. Our business model is aligned with helping users find relevant funding opportunities, not with steering users toward specific grants or agencies.
Conflicts of Interest
Funding Radar has no financial relationship, partnership, joint venture, agency agreement, or other material business relationship with any federal agency, grant-making body, grant recipient, grant applicant, grant consulting firm, or other entity that could create a conflict of interest with respect to the information we display or the services we provide. We do not receive incentives or compensation of any kind for promoting, prioritizing, or featuring specific grants, agencies, or programs. The order, ranking, and presentation of grant opportunities on our platform is determined by our algorithms and editorial judgment, and is not influenced by any third-party financial relationship.
Use of AI and Automation
Funding Radar may use artificial intelligence, machine learning, natural language processing, and other automated tools to assist in processing, summarizing, categorizing, and analyzing grant data. This includes but is not limited to: generating plain-English summaries of official grant notices, assigning topic tags and categories, calculating fit scores, and identifying relevant eligibility criteria.
While we review automated outputs for accuracy and quality, content generated or assisted by automated tools may contain errors, omissions, misinterpretations, or inaccuracies. Automated systems may misclassify grants, produce incorrect summaries, or assign inaccurate fit scores.
You should not rely solely on AI-generated or automated content when making decisions about grant applications. Always refer to the official Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) and consult with qualified professionals as appropriate.
Data Freshness and Synchronization
Grant data on Funding Radar is refreshed periodically from official federal data sources. However, there is inherently a delay between when information is updated at the official source and when those updates are reflected on our platform. This delay may range from minutes to days depending on various technical and operational factors.
During this delay period, the information on our platform may not reflect the most current official data. Grants may have been modified, withdrawn, extended, or closed at the official source without those changes yet appearing on Funding Radar. New grants may have been posted at the official source that have not yet been ingested into our system.
Always check the official source for the most current and authoritative information before making any decisions or submitting any applications. Do not rely on deadline dates or other time-sensitive information displayed on our platform without verifying them at the official source.
Accuracy Limitations
Despite our best efforts to provide accurate and useful information, the content on Funding Radar may be incomplete, contain errors, or be otherwise inaccurate. Sources of potential inaccuracy include but are not limited to: data synchronization delays, errors in source data, errors introduced during data processing or transformation, inaccuracies in automated summaries or categorizations, outdated information, and human error.
Funding Radar makes no warranty, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, reliability, or suitability of the information on our platform for any particular purpose. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind.
Funding Radar, its owners, operators, employees, and agents shall NOT be liable for any losses, damages, costs, expenses, or other consequences (whether direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or otherwise) arising from or related to any decisions made, actions taken, or applications submitted based in whole or in part on information obtained from this platform. This includes but is not limited to: missed deadlines, rejected applications, loss of funding opportunities, wasted application effort, or any other adverse outcome.
By using this Service, you acknowledge and accept that you bear all risk associated with your use of and reliance on the information provided through the platform.
