Summary
The primary goal of the Native American Resource Center (NARC) will be to enhance the knowledge about older adults in American Indian, Alaskan Native, and Native Hawaiin (AI/AN/NH), community, thereby increase and improve the delivery of services to elders. The NARC will focus on the development and provision of technical information. The NARC's will have a national focus and direct its resource to one or more of the primary concerns in their application which includes health issues, long term care, including in-home care; elder abuse; and other problems and issues facing AI, AN and NH...

Additional Eligibility Details
Applicants must have experience conducting research, assessing the needs of older adults, and developing best practices to be utilized by the targeted populations identified in the funding announcement.Native American Resource Centers currently funded under program are eligible to apply. Foreign entities are not eligible to compete for, or receive, awards made under this announcement. Faith-based and community organizations that meet the eligibility requirements are eligible to receive awards under this funding opportunity announcement.
