How Deadline Alerts Work
Missing a grant deadline means waiting months or even years for the next cycle. Our alert system is designed to make sure that never happens.
Monitoring
Our pipeline syncs with federal data sources daily. When a new opportunity is published or an existing deadline changes, we detect it within hours. This includes new NOFOs on Grants.gov, deadline extensions, and amendments to existing notices.
Matching
Alerts are tied to your saved searches and watchlist. When a new opportunity matches your search criteria or a watched opportunity has an upcoming deadline, the alert system activates. You only receive notifications for opportunities relevant to your organization.
Notification Schedule
By default, we send deadline reminders at 30 days, 14 days, and 3 days before a deadline closes. You can customize these intervals in your alert settings. New opportunity alerts are sent as soon as a match is detected.
Delivery Channels
Alerts are delivered by email. Each alert includes the opportunity title, deadline, a direct link to the opportunity detail page on our platform, and a link to the official notice. We keep alert emails concise so you can act on them quickly.
Managing Your Alerts
You can manage your alerts from the Alerts page in your dashboard. Add or remove saved searches, adjust notification timing, or pause alerts temporarily. You can also unsubscribe from individual alert types without affecting the rest of your notification preferences.
